Ellis High School Volleyball Senior Night is Tuesday, October 3, at the home triangular against Plainville and Trego. Volleyball action begins at 4:30 PM. Senior Recognition will take place prior to the last match at approximately 6:30 PM.

The lady Railers traveled to Oakley tonight for league volleyball action. Both the JV and V girls defeated Oakley in straights sets. JV 25-11 & 25-14; Varsity 25-18 & 25-18. Next they took on the Hoxie Indians, the Varsity girls had a thrilling match, but came up short in the end 25-21, 19-25, & 22-25. JV lost in 2 sets 26-28 & 20-25. Rounding out the night we took on the Golden Eagles of Trego. Varsity won in 3 sets, 25-19, 23-25, & 25-21. JV lost in 3 sets, 25-11, 19-25, & 13-15. Our next volleyball action is this weekend at our home Railer Tournament.

It's Game Day for Railer Volleyball! Let the magic happen!!


At our last Art Club meeting, we had a tie dye party! Students brought in shirts to tie dye that will eventually be printed on for this years art club shirts. Art Club is working on some really fun things to hopefully get some art out into the community this year!

The EJH/EHS Site Council meeting that was scheduled for this evening, September 25th, has been cancelled.

Tomorrow the EHS Lady Railers head to Oakley to take on the Plainsmen, Hoxie Indians, and Trego Golden Eagles. Our first match begins at 4. Varsity at the Oakley HS gym and Junior Varsity will be playing in Monument.


On Saturday, the Ellis FFA Chapter hosted the Northwest District FFA Dodgeball Tournament. Five schools participated, making up a total of nine teams. The Ellis Greenhand team won the bracket!






EJH VOLLEYBALL IS TOURNAMENT CHAMPS!!! These girls fought so hard and beat Colby 8 matching up for the second time in the tournament. They were back for revenge and proved it!! We are so proud of these girls and proud to be RAILERS!🧡🏐🖤



The Lady Railers fought hard, but couldn't hand South Gray their first loss of the season. The Railers walked off the court with 2nd place at the Kiowa tournament falling to the Rebels 20-25, 25-23, & 18-25. I'm proud of you ladies! 🚂🏐🧡🖤

EJH Lady Railers are 2-1 after pool play at the Thunderhawk Invitational. They lost to Colby but came back to beat Trego & Hoxie! They will move on to the championship bracket! Go Railers!
