**Attention Spring Sports Parents and Students:**
The EHS Journalism/Yearbook Staff is excited to announce that Spring Sports Pictures will be available for all athletes at Ellis Jr/Sr High School. The pictures will include the following sports: Ellis Junior High Track, EHS Baseball, EHS Golf, EHS Softball, and EHS Track & Field. Individual and team photos were taken of all participants present on the day of the shoot.
If you missed the chance to order photos during the fall or winter sports seasons and would like to purchase a Memory Mate from those seasons, now is the perfect time! This will be the last opportunity to order pictures for this school year. Please note that all orders are due by Wednesday, April 8, 2026; no late orders will be accepted.
Order forms will be sent home today (April 1st) at practices. To order a Memory Mate or an individual picture of your athlete, please use the order form provided. Congratulations to both the 7th & 8th grade scholars bowl teams on a great season. 8th went 4-5 today with several close matches, but did not place. 7th went 7-2 today, taking 3rd place in the MCEL meet! Great way to finish the season!

Railroader Music continues to excel during contest season! Congratulations to all of our State KSHSAA qualifiers! Everyone performed exceptionally well at regionals this past weekend. Tayler Schmidt received a rating of 1 for her bass clarinet solo. Skylynn Begler also achieved a rating of 1 for her clarinet solo. In addition, Tayler Schmidt, Kinzie Sunley, and Skylynn Begler formed a clarinet trio that also received a rating of 1! They will proudly represent Ellis High School at the KSHSAA State Solos and Small Ensembles on April 25 at Bethel College in Newton.

All EHS students are invited to join the Fifth Quarter celebration this Friday, March 27, 2026! They are excited to celebrate spring sports with all Ellis High School freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. The event will take place at the Ellis United Methodist Church from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM, featuring fun, games, and great food.
They will be serving pizza, with options that include meat and a Lent-friendly cheese. Additionally, there will be door prize drawings, including the chance to win a 32-inch TV! Come and enjoy the final Fifth Quarter of the year!
