The Railroader Varsity Golf team has an exciting week ahead! Today, they are heading to Phillipsburg for a tournament that starts at 1:00 PM on this beautiful day. BASEBALL UPDATE! - Today's baseball games versus Bucklin have been forfeited by the visiting team. We will not be playing games today. The Senior Recognition that was scheduled for today will now be held before the Regional Quarterfinal game on Friday. We will host Plainville at 5:00pm. Ellis High School's Commencement will take place on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the Ellis Jr./Sr. High School Gymnasium. The graduation speaker will be John Befort, the retiring principal of Washington Grade School in Ellis. He is a proud graduate of Ellis High School, Class of 1983, and has dedicated 24 years to serving the Ellis school district. The class ushers are Perry and Maria Mick. The program attendants are Brody Fischer, Jaren Frickey, Leah Reed, and Sienna Schmidt.

This year, Morgan has played a vital role in creating various social media posts for the office, including many Game Day posts. She worked closely with Maria to develop the Teacher Tuesday series, which showcased our faculty and staff. These Teacher Tuesdays not only highlighted our talented educators but also emphasized their roles as valued members of USD 388 schools and the Ellis community. We are proud to have such incredible teachers and students here in Ellis!

We are RAILROADER PROUD of our seniors and the entire softball team!
The High School track team had 16 PRs at the Victoria track meet. Way to go, Railers!!! The girls' team placed 1st place at the meet. 1st place finishers are Natalle in the Shot and Discus, Avery in the 1600 and 3200, Isabella in the HJ, Carson in the Javelin, and Evelyn in the 100, 200, and 400. The 2nd place finisher is Aron in the Discus. 3rd place finishers are Sienna in the LJ and Taylor in the 800. Our 4th place finishers are Addison in the 100 H, Kaycee in the 400, and Aron in the shot. The fifth-place finishers are Braidyn in the 1600, Sienna in the TJ, JT and 100, and Talon in the 1600. The sixth-place finishers are Addison in the 300 H and Sienna in the 100. Great work team!!!
Today concluded the first annual EHS/JH Chess Club tournament! The final matchup took place between Henry Brull and Beckett Longbine. This years champion is Beckett Longbine! Great job from all of our competitors.
