On February 4-5, Railer wrestling set out on an adventure to Eastern Kansas. The first stop was West Franklin High School. Both the boys and girls wrestled a variety of teams from the Eastern Kansas area, including 6A teams from KC. All the boys faired well, posting a record of 2-1 except for Kooper Hankins who went 3-0 on the day. Many of their opponents were ranked in one of the classes as 1 or 2. Girls wrestled equally well, all ending 2-1. It was a great day for the Railers. The teams loaded up and headed for the hotel in Topeka, where they started the next day with a 2-hour study session as a team in the hotel lobby before heading to Onaga. The Lady Railers competed in a mixer, where as a team they went 4-5 on the day. On the boys side, the boys wrestled in a dual tournament. In 3 of the 5 duals, the boys did not lose a match, seeing schools like Basehor-Linwood and other Eastern Kansas schools. The boys posted a record of 17-4 on the day.
