What a great start to Ellis Power (HS Boys summer weights)
This week kicked off summer workouts and we are doing something a little different this year. We had Dan Rogers of Olympus Performance come in and write the workouts for the summer program. This should help us by cutting out the unnecessary lifts and working more efficiently specifically with speed and explosiveness! Kids seem to be enjoying the new workouts!
So far we have 100% attendance for everyone who has committed to playing football this fall with a few others joing in a few days also!
Lets keep it going. The season will be here before we know it!

Day 2 of state golf in the books. After an hour and a half weather delay we teed off on a soggy course. Jaren had a rough start but a good finish. It wasn't quite enough however. He finished just 5 shots out of the medals. We'll use this experience to be better in 2026!

Hey all, just a reminder that our girls' summer weights program will begin on Monday, June 2nd, at @8:30-9:30.
Also, I will be hosting JH girls' basketball skills in the morning on Tuesday, June 3rd, and each week on Thursdays after that. That will start at 7:15 until weights! Hope to see you there!
If you have any questions feel free to email me mdavenport@usd388.com

Attention Railers! Here is a great opportunity to get your sports physicals completed for the coming year.

Our Railroader Track & Field team is heading to the State Championships this week at Wichita State University! Come out to show your support and help send them off in style. The send-off will take place on Thursday, May 29th, at 10:45 AM at Ellis Jr./Sr. High School. Let’s show our Railroader pride!

I'm very proud of how these guys competed today on day 1 of the state golf tournament. The team did not make the cut for day 2, but Jaren Frickey played really well and currently sits in 15th place. He will tee off again tomorrow for a chance at a top 20 medal! KEEP GRINDING!
