The Ellis High School KAY Club invites parents and the community to the Annual Food Box Auction on Friday, Dec. 20, 2024, at 10:00 in the Ellis Jr./Sr. High School Auditorium. KAY Club members will have homemade baked goodies and decorated boxes for auction. All proceeds will go to the KAY Club to support future projects and help members attend KAY camp in the summer. The EHS Journalism/Yearbook Staff is excited to announce that we will be offering Winter Sports Pictures for all athletes at Ellis Jr./Sr. High School. This includes EHS and EJH Basketball as well as EHS Wrestling. Order forms are available in the office and will also be distributed by coaches this week. The cost of the pictures is just $20! Please submit your orders by Wednesday, December 18, 2024. Additionally, EJH Wrestling pictures will be taken in January after practice begins. The Junior High KAY club raised money that went back to the community by voting for a JH teacher to 'Kiss a Horse.' Miss Crawford was the lucky winner who got to kiss Tank. A huge thank you to Monte Boydston for bringing out one of his horses!

Ellis High School musicians selected for NW KMEA Honor Ensembles.
Junior Tayler Schmidt - 1st chair bass clarinet, Junior Kinzie Sunley - soprano, and Freshman Talon Pyle - bass. Students will attend rehearsal all day on Saturday, December 7th at Fort Hays State University. The concert will begin at 3:30pm at the Beach/Schmidt Auditorium on FHSU campus. Admission is $5 for adults, students are free. Congratulations to all!
The Ellis United Methodist Church, 1201 Washington, is excited to announce the 2024-25 Winter 5th Quarter dates. There will be free food, prizes, and games! Fifth Quarter is a safe, alcohol, tobacco, and drug-free place for Ellis High School students to have fun.
