Attention Seniors and Senior Parents: On Monday, August 25, 2025, all seniors will have their senior banner pictures taken during 6th hour. Seniors are asked to select one sport, club, or organization to represent in their picture. Students should wear a jersey, uniform, or t-shirt that corresponds to their chosen sport, club, or organization. Props are encouraged, and students may use multiple props to showcase their interests. Please ensure you have the uniforms or props you need for the pictures. Absent students will have their banner pictures taken on Thursday, September 25, after the school pictures. Ellis High School is always proud to recognize our seniors, and we are happy to continue providing these banners for our students!

Welcome to Kobi Shubert, Junior High Math! Mr. Shubert graduated high school in 2021. He participated in Football, Basketball, and track in high school. He was involved in Stem club in college. We are excited to have Mr. Shubert at Ellis Jr./Sr. High!

We want to welcome Lili Shubert, High School Math!! Miss Shubert graduated high school in 2021. She participated in volleyball, basketball, track, and cheerleading and was a member of multiple clubs. She then attended Barton County to play basketball. Welcome Miss Shubert!!

Ellis Junior High School will hold 7th Grade Orientation on Tuesday, August 19th, at 6:00 PM in the auditorium. Parents and students are welcome and encouraged to attend! We look forward to meeting you! It's going to be a great year!

We are just 1 week away from the start of the fall sports season! A reminder that all physical and head injury release waivers need to be completed and turned into the office in order for students to be enabled to practice. Please don't turn over or submit forms to coaches. The Activities' Association does have policy on how many practices must be attended before students are able to compete, so please don't miss out on those opportunities by being late to schedule those appointments and get forms submitted. Thank you!

Your Lady Railers finished their summer weights program this morning. I can't express how proud Mrs. Davenport and I are of these girl's dedication and work ethic. We are looking forward to seeing this work pay off this year in all of their sports. Congratulations to the Ellis Girls Track team and Avery Boyston for being nominated for “The Catchy” award. They were voted as winners for the 2024-2025 school year. The Ellis Girls were 1A State Track & Field Champions and selected 1A program of the year. Avery Boyston was selected Girls Cross Country Athlete of the Year.
