Today is Principal Appreciation Day! Ellis Jr./Sr. High School proudly recognizes our amazing principal, Mr. Jesse Vincent. We are thrilled to have his experience, knowledge, and expertise as part of our school community. Although this is Mr. Vincent's first year at Ellis, he has already made a positive impact. He has introduced many new ideas to the school, including the Early Release Incentive, which has been a big hit with the students.
Mr. Vincent makes an effort to welcome and greet students each day, and he knows all their names! He has supported and championed everyone who works here, creating a positive and welcoming environment in our school. It feels good to be appreciated! He is funny and well-liked by everyone. We are excited to see what great qualities he will continue to bring to our school.
We are inspired by the numerous positive comments we have received from students about Mr. Vincent. They describe him as friendly and kind, and they feel comfortable approaching him with their concerns, knowing that they are heard.
Fun facts about Mr. Vincent include his love for steak and football, and both of his sons play football for Colorado State University. He is also a Bon Jovi fan, making us think we need to plan an '80s spirit day next year! Once again, we celebrate Mr. Jesse Vincent on this Principal Appreciation Day. We are truly fortunate to have him as our principal!

🏈 For anyone interested in playing football next year for Ellis High School.
There will be a football information meeting in the high school auditorium Wednesday, May 7th, immediately following Natalee North's signing! This should just take a few minutes. We will hand out summer weight calendars and have a sign up sheet!
If you are unable to attend and want to play, please let Coach Eichman know and we can arrange a time to pick up a Weights calendar.🏈
Thanks and go Railers

This is the last opportunity to order a 2024-25 Railroader Yearbook! Orders accepted through May 15, 2025! The cost of a yearbook is $50. The EHS Journalism team works hard each year to create this memorable publication. This is the second year that the Railroader Yearbook will include grades 7-12, featuring pictures and memories from both high school and junior high.
Without the generosity of our students' families, it would be difficult to fund the yearbook, and this valuable tradition could come to an end. Sales are crucial for supporting this publication and maintaining this important class within our schools. Your purchase helps keep the yearbook alive for years to come. With the rise of online photos and social media, students and parents often overlook the value of a physical yearbook. Ensure your memories last a lifetime—purchase your Railroader Yearbook today! Students who buy a yearbook will be invited to the “Signing Celebration” at the beginning of the school year, where they can sign each other’s yearbooks, reviving a cherished tradition.
The link to purchase a yearbook online can be found here: https://www.jostens.com/apps/store/customer/1070972/Ellis-High-School. If you have any questions or want to confirm whether you have already purchased a yearbook, please contact the school office at 785-726-3151.
