Parents! We've reached the last month of JH Cheer. Please note on the schedule a few things. We have a few combine practices with HS cheer on Thursdays throughout the month to prepare for our combined performance at February 14th's basketball games. I will send out time to be there closer to date.
We will be cheering at the Ellis JH Wresting meet on February 6th. Any girl wrestlers will not have to worry about cheering during this time so they can focus on wrestling. i also plan to take the girls to the MCEL tournament on Feb 20 at Trego.
Uniform check in will be on Thursday Feb 27 after school. The girls will need to bring in all uniforms, bows, and poms. I will send out a more detailed list closer. Cheer tryouts will be sometime this Spring with a date TBD. All girls have to tryout again if they want to cheer next year. I hope to see them all there, and wish the best of luck to the 8th graders and encourage them to try out for HS cheer!

Ellis Jr./Sr. High School is excited to spotlight another amazing teacher this week! Mr. Kyle Fox is a valuable educator and coach within our district. He is the “NEWS” for USD 388, focusing on highlighting our students and staff. Additionally, he serves as an assistant coach for both basketball and track. We are fortunate to have Mr. Fox in our district. He is a graduate of Fort Hays State University and is proud of his Tigers, but he is also a huge fan of KU, the Kansas City Royals, and of course, the Chiefs. We are honored to celebrate his talents as part of our Railroader community! Thank you, Mr. Fox!
