Come join the HS/JH Cross Country Team this Monday, Aug. 29th, for their “Fun Run” Scrimmage. The race will begin at 5:00 PM at the Old High School.
The Lady Railers traveled to JV tournaments in both Ness City and Phillipsburg today. In Phillipsburg we ended the day 1-2. The Railers won the first match over Colby 25-15, 26-24, before falling to Stockton 21-25, 16-25 and Phillipsburg 13-25, 18-25 in the second and third matches.
In Ness City we placed 4th. In pool play the team finished 2-1 with wins against Hodgeman County 25-7, 15-25, 15-10, and LaCrosse 25-12, 25-16. The Railers also fell to Wichita County 15-25, 13-25.
In bracket play, the Railers dropped the 3rd place gave to Ness City, 25-17, 18-25, 9-15.

Students participating in HS Band/Choir will need a shirt for performances. Shirts can be purchased at the following link. The store closes August 29th at 11:59. Reminders will be sent home with the course syllabus. We do not want financial issues to keep students from participating in band or choir. Harlie Bittel, Maci Eberle, Hannah Schiel, Austin Carroll, Ethan Carroll, Joel Schiel , and Aiden Aschenbrenner are attending KLC Camp this week at Rock Springs. These students are members of KAYs at Ellis High School and Junior High.
