
JV and V VB both win their first sets against Plainville in 2 games!





The EHS/EJH Band competed at State Fair for the first time in 11 years and received an Excellent II rating despite only having time for 3 full, combined rehearsals! Congratulations, band!

Seniors had the highest participation with color day yesterday and won the Spirit Stick for Monday.


Lance Reese “The Voice of the Railers” spoke with seniors about play-by-play announcing. Seniors are learning about different types of journalism in their English classes.

In Cardinal Gym (East), Ellis Railers will take on the Plainville Cardinals at 4:30 p.m. Ellis will then take on TMP in the second match. In Cardinal Gym (West), Ellis JV will take on the Plainville JV at 4:30 p.m. Ellis JV will then play TMP JV. GO RAILERS!

This week in Spirit Week and 8th grade Rocked it with Color Day winning the Junior High Spirit Stick.

The Railers failed to keep momentum, as untimely miscues led to big plays for the Monarchs on their way to a 35-0 victory. The team dug deep and picked up steam in the second half with some gritty effort. Homecoming is next week as we’ll welcome another MCL opponent in Phillipsburg.

A BENEFIT BBQ sponsored by the Ellis Co. Junior Free Fair has been scheduled along with Homecoming! The BBQ will be prior to the home football game on Friday, September 16th! Come Support!

Last night the JH Railer Football team beat the Stockton Tigers 58-40! The Railers are now 2-0.
