The 5th graders built candy launchers with the goal to make it into the trick-or-treater’s basket from 6 ft away. 🍬 They were very creative, but only one team succeeded! Others were VERY close though!

The 6th graders were challenged with building a bone bridge with only limited materials and a height criteria of 1 inch. Their goal was to see who could build a bridge that held the most candy pumpkins! One team’s bridge held 18 pumpkins! 🎃

The 4th graders were challenged with giving bats their wings (think paper airplane)! Then we tested to see which bat flew the farthest. Congrats to Jaxon, Katie and Taegan for their far travels! 🦇

Second grade ends their week with a round of Math Jeopardy. These hard working kids are learning all about place value and math equations.

Dental hygienists from First Care Clinic will be at our schools on Thursday, November 10th, 2022, for dental screenings on K-12 students. Fluoride applications will be available at no charge for those that have a signed consent by a parent. A consent form is attached, and forms are also available in the office. Please turn in consent forms to the office by Friday, November 4th, 2022. Fluoride supports healthy tooth enamel, builds strong teeth, and helps prevent cavities.

Miss Rohleder’s 4th graders rockin’ their favorite sports teams for the last day of Unity Week.

2 of the WGS ambassadors came on Wednesday to talk with our first graders about how to stand up to bullies, talk about the effects of mean/kind words, and we practiced giving compliments to each other. 🥰 We love having the older kids come down to teach us!
