Here is the schedule of play for the MCEL volleyball tournament quad on October 14th. Play will begin at 4:00pm. We do NOT have school on Monday, so there is no dismissal time. The bus is scheduled to depart at 2:45pm from EHS.

The XC team competed for the MCL titles at Phillipsburg. Six of our athletes brought home hardware. Taryn Bodyston is your MCL JH Champ. Avery and Cayson Boydston are both MCL runner-ups. Wyatt Dixson placed 5th in the JV race while Henry Brull and Nora Andrews finished sixth. Great work to all of our runners.

The Annual Trick or Treat So Others Can Eat is scheduled this Sunday, October 13th! It will begin at the Ellis Food Pantry (210 Madison, which is behind Casey’s) at 4:00 PM. EHS students who are members of FCCLA, FFA, KAY, or anyone needing community service are encouraged to participate!
Several seniors took advantage of Apply Free Kansas today. Colleges across the state waived their application fee today and students were given class time to apply to various colleges with Mrs. Carroll's help.
EJH volleyball will be hosting a home scrimmage tomorrow October 10th starting at 4:30pm at EHS. Varsity and JV will kick off the evening by playing two sets, third to 15 if needed. We will then mix the girls up and play an additional two sets, third to 15 again if necessary.

EHS Lady Railers walked off the court tonight with 4 wins, in straight sets. JV beat Trego 25-7 & 25-9, V beat Trego 25-8 & 25-16. Finishing out the night JV beat Plainville 25-14 & 25-22 & V won 25-13 & 25-23! Way to go Lady Railers! Next matches Thursday against TMP & Victoria!
