The Class of 2025 (Seniors) were the spirit week winners for Homecoming! They were champions at volleyball and flag football! Way to go, Seniors!



The Class of 2026 (Juniors) won the Homecoming Float contest with a Candy Land theme. Good job to all the classes! We had some great floats this year!








Ellis Jr./Sr. High School Picture Day is Tuesday, October 1st! ALL students (including seniors) as well as faculty/staff will have their picture taken. Don't forget to smile!


EJH Volleyball Game (9/26) Information is attached below. Please make note that due to HS Volleyball also being at home, our games will take place at Washington Grade School.



EHS Lady Railers traveled to Oakley and took on TMP & Oakley. Both JV & V started out slow against TMP falling 16-25/23-25 (JV) & 17-25/16-26 (V). Both squads rebounded and beat the Lady Plainsmen in 3 sets 25-15, 20-25, & 15-11(JV) & 21-25, 25-22, & 25-22. Way to go ladies! 🧡🏐





Congratulations to Ellis High School's King and Queen, Kamden Keller and Natalee North, who were crowned at our football game on Friday, Sept. 20th. Ellis High School had a fabulous week celebrating homecoming! The Class of 2025 (seniors) were the overall spirit winners. The junior class won best float, featuring Candy Land. The seniors and juniors continued their winning streak by defeating the faculty and staff in volleyball. It was a great week to be a RAILER! EJH Volleyball Game (9/23) will be at home against TMP and Russell starting at 4:30pm. With multiple teams, we will be utilizing both the High School and Washington Grade School gyms. Varsity will play at Ellis High School. JV will play at Washington Grade School. We will be playing the 1st and 3rd games.

2024 HOMECOMING Parade and Pep Rally is today (Friday, September 20th)! RAILER PRIDE!


It's HOMECOMING GAME DAY! Crowning is at 6:30 PM! Game time is 7:00 PM! LET'S GO RAILERS!


Last night 6 members of our lady Railer JV/C volleyball team traveled to Colby and took on Heartland Christian's varsity and Atwood's jv. They fought hard, but were unable to come out with a win. Keep your heads high ladies!
Lady Railers will next be in action Tuesday in Oakley/Monument taking on TMP at 5:30 & Oakley 6:30. 🧡🏐🖤


EJH Volleyball hosted their first home game this evening against Hoxie. Unfortunately JV and Varsity fell to the Indians. We take on TMP and Russell on Monday (9/23) at home, we would love to see you there!

Another great performance for the Ellis XC team as they ran at Wakeeney. 9 of the 11 runners came home with medals. Wyatt Dixson had the break out day with a nearly 2:00 minute PR and 9th place. Taryn and Avery Boydston placed 1st. Cayson Boydston and Talon Pyle finished 2nd. Evelyn Merriman, Jocelyn Eck, Henry Brull, and Nora Andrewa placed 3rd, 13th, 10th, and 8th respectively.



Ellis Jr./Sr. High School Booster Club is hosting a free-will donation meal at homecoming tomorrow (Friday, Sept. 20th). Check it out! GO RAILERS!


It's Homecoming week and the Railroaders welcome in the #1 ranked team in the state. The Hoxie Indains. So come out and get loud pack the stands and let your voices be heard! Go Railers! If you cant make it down in person to the game it will be airing on Open Space Sports channel 2.
