Week 3 found both Railer Wrestling teams competing in Russell. This was an exciting time for the Railer family as it was the first time this season both teams competed in the same place at the same time. Four Lady Railers competed well, placing 4th as a team out of 12 teams. Piper McClung (sophomore) placed 3rd at 105 pounds. Hannah James (freshman) placed 2nd. Kia Mader (junior) and Lyla Richards (freshman) found the top of the podium with 1st place finishes. Railer Men had an equally successful day with each one picking up wins. At 215 pounds, Cole Yates (sophomore) took 4th with the fastest pin on the team at 0:17. Brendan Seibel placed 5th. The team welcomed Asher Haag (freshman) to the mat at 126 pounds. He finished champion, going 3-0 on the day. The girls return to competition after break at the JR Durham Tournament in Norton and the boys travel to Franklin, Nebraska. #itsagreatdaytobearailer
