Ellis Jr./Sr. High School is excited to announce its Holiday Concert on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 2:45 PM in the auditorium. The public is warmly invited to join us for an afternoon of beautiful music performed by the 7-12 band and the guitar choir. There are rumors that a special guest will perform with the students! This promises to be a fantastic concert, and we look forward to sharing this experience with the parents and community of Ellis. Ellis High School graduates are well-represented at Fort Hays State University and Fort Hays Tech North Central. JH Boys Basketball Update - Tomorrow's D game at TMP has been moved to the end of the schedule and will be played after the A game. Games start at 4:00pm. Order of play is B, C, A, D.

FCCLA is hosting a Parents' Night Out event on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Send your children to enjoy an evening of fun with high school FCCLA members! Activities include pizza, cookie decorating, gingerbread house decorating, gym games, and a movie. The cost is only $20 for the first child, and additional children from the same family are just $10 each. Registration forms are due Tuesday, December 9th.

On Tuesday, November 25, 2025, Ellis High School inducted nine juniors and fifteen seniors into the local chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS). The requirements for NHS membership include maintaining a GPA of at least 3.5, demonstrating leadership in seven organizations within the school or community, completing 40 hours of community service, and receiving a positive character evaluation from teachers. It’s GAME DAY! Our Railroaders will host their first game of the season today. The Lady Railroaders and the JV Railroaders will compete against the Christian Family Falcons, while the boys' varsity team will face the Stockton Tigers.
