The Kiowa County Media Center in Greensburg is wanting to Live Stream the entire Kiowa County Invitational Volleyball Tournament, this Saturday September 24th. In order to do so, they need four sponsors from each school. These sponsors can be families at $50 or business sponsors at $100. Sponsorship could include a personalized slide for players, shout out to the team, etc. Below is a link to a KCMC Sponsorship video. A huge thank you to our City of Ellis Fire Department for helping at our homecoming bonfire! Everyone should come to the fair grounds and enjoy a fire in the beautiful weather.


Today's Cross Country meet at WaKeeney has been cancelled as they've chosen to err on the side of caution with today's weather forecast. The meet will not be made up.

A BENEFIT BBQ sponsored by the Ellis Co. Junior Free Fair has been scheduled along with Homecoming! The BBQ will be prior to the home football game on Friday, September 16th! Come Support!


As a reminder, tonight (September 15) is the EHS Homecoming Bonfire at approximately 8:00 p.m. at the Ellis Fairgrounds. There is a chance of rain and possible high winds this evening. Please watch for updates on the USD 388 website, Facebook, and email. RAILER PRIDE!

The north campus concession stand will now be located in the lobby by the restrooms. This new space provides a clean and sanitary place to serve our community. Please support the sophomore class by visiting and purchasing a wide variety of snacks and food! Go Railers!




There will be an Ellis band rehearsal Thursday, Sept. 15th at 6:30 for students, alumni, and community volunteers who would like to play at the Homecoming game this friday! It will be about an hour to allow our students to attend the bonfire. Contact Abbey Hirsch with questions!

The EHS/EJH Band competed at State Fair for the first time in 11 years and received an Excellent II rating despite only having time for 3 full, combined rehearsals! Congratulations, band!
