Our students will be participating in the USDA fruits and vegetable program, which is providing our students a type of fruit every Tuesday and a vegetable every Thursday. Our head cook Kathy Desaire wrote the grant and received it for the school. Attached is a flyer that explains a little bit about it. https://5il.co/2ydhl

Congrats to Gage R., Everly M., Chlarys H., and Taegan C. for winning our caught being kind drawing this week. Your integrity and positive attitudes brighten our school!

Mrs. Kauten's fourth grade is nearing the end of the Land of Stories. She has been reading this magical series with her students since the seniors of 2024 were fourth graders! It is so fun to watch the kids' faces when the story reveals all of its twists and turns! 📕 📖 📚

Parents
WGS is not dressing as the high school is for spirit days, however we encourage your children to dress up for Friday's Homecoming in orange and black. We will have a 2:00 dismissal that day, if your child is going to WASP or riding the bus home, let their teacher know, I will walk them to the parade and bring them back to school. Buses will run at normal time. Also PTO has tattoos for the students, they found some generous donors so the students do not need to bring money for the tattoos, the teachers will hand them out Thursday and they can wear them Friday.
If you still haven't been able to log into power school let us know so we can get you access.
