All year the fourth graders have been writing letters to their pen pals, who are members of the Ellis community. This afternoon they got to meet them in person. It was a great experience that the students really enjoyed!

Mrs. Burd’s science classes recently learned about a farming operation in Utah that provides fruits and vegetables to stores, such as Walmart! The students then created a life cycle of a watermelon plant, actually planted watermelon seeds to take home, and colored a picture.
