Huge shoutout to second grade for a job well done! They completed their Pay-It-Forward Playground Project. They sold Valentines and Ellis Fidget Spinners. Money raised, they'll donate to PTO's playground project. With the help of our amazing community, these kids raised $1,000!

The 6th graders are Super Bowl ready! A friendly competition of designing and making football fields and some "flick football" competition ended our week ready for the Super Bowl! Go Chiefs! ❤️💛
Kansas Cosmosphere+Robots+6th Graders=A fun filled morning of programming and learning!
The Kansas Cosmosphere taught the students about robots today. 🤖 The 4th and 5th graders got the chance to try to program their Sphero Bolt Robot Ball to navigate through a maze!

February 14-17 Washington Grade School Students will be celebrating Kindness Week. Friday, February 17 is National Random Acts of Kindness Day. All students are encouraged to wear blue on Friday, February 17 as part of our celebration of kindness.
Informational flyer about PTO selling Railer Tattoos for students to show their school spirit. The students can purchase them for $.50 and wear them on Friday. Teacher will not be putting them on in school.
