Ambassadors did an awesome job helping to remind students about standing up to bullying and spreading the ripple effect of kindness in our school and community! They worked hard for over a month to prepare and their hard work paid off. October is national bullying awareness and prevention month. In order to spread kindness, knowledge, prevention, and fun, Washington Grade School will be celebrating Unity Week October 16-October 20th. With dress-up days and activities to create a culture of kindness and unity amongst our students. Monday 10/16: PJ Day (comfy and kind) Tuesday 10/17: Bright Colors/Tie Dye (make the world a brighter place) Wednesday 10/18: Orange (unity day) Thursday 10/19: Hat Day (hats off to kindness) Friday 10/20: Sports attire (be a team player and unite against bullying)

The fourth grade students did an AMAZING job of representing our school yesterday at Ag Day in Hays. They were attentive and respectful all day. Because they were such rockstars, Mrs. Kauten rewarded them with donuts this morning.
