
Our Ellis High School seniors were again special guests to Rotary today! They had lunch with the Rotarians and watched a wonderful program featuring a couple of FHSU International Students. Ellis seniors were honored to be included! Thank you to the Ellis Rotary Club!






Hat Day is coming to Ellis schools! On April 13, donate $1 to show off your favorite hat at school. All proceeds benefit the Play and Learn Project. This is district-wide and everyone gets to participate! Students can bring $1 to their first period teacher to participate.


Ellis Track and Field traveled to Ness City yesterday and competed very well against 12 other teams. As a team, Girls placed 2nd, while the Boys finished 6th. We had many individuals that placed and brought home some hardware.

Not the outcome we wanted but the bombs were flying in Hays tonight. Lost first game 14-3 and second game 12-11. Myah McCoy with the dinger and Kaydawn Haag with the double dinger.

Talon Pyle set the 7th grade boys 2 mile run record for the first time with a time of 14:57. Congrats!


Congrats to Trenton Schartz! He broke the 7th grade boys Javelin record today with a throw of 131-9. The previous record was 121-5 and was set by Aiden Amrein in 2019.



Lady Softball split tonight vs Plainville / Stockton. Loss game one 17-18 but came back and won second game 22-7.

The Ellis Rotarians treated EHS Seniors to a luncheon and a guest speaker from Nigeria.




Ellis High School’s Site Council Service Award forms are due in the office by Monday, May 1, 2023. Award certificates will be given during the EHS Awards Assembly held on Wednesday, May 10 @ 8:00 a.m. Forms are available online (https://5il.co/1avu9) and in the office!
