Congrats to the Railer golfers on a tremendous day at Hill City! Hunter Guffey placed 15th with a personal best 86. Austin Carroll also had a personal best score of 74 and placed 4th. Team placed 3rd with a 338, which is our lowest score in 10 years! Great job guys KEEP GRINDING!

Shoutout to our High School Track & Field athletes for an outstanding performance at Victoria! We are starting to see a lot of peak performances as we prepare for league and regionals. Our girl's team placed 2nd out of 9 teams, while the boy's team placed 8th out of 9 teams. Next week we head to Philipsburg for MCL, the following week we will be in Stanton County for Regionals, hoping to take a large bus to State the week after!

Mrs.Nilhas' culinary bakery class finished their copycat Crumbl Cookie competition. They had several EHS staff vote and every one of them got a first place vote by someone!!






We will have a send-off for our EHS Forensics and Journalism State Qualifiers at 12:00pm today.

EHS Journalism State Qualifiers are Macy Eberle, Kaydawn Haag, Ava Reed, Taylor Seibel, Kylee Pfeifer, Addison Kohl, and Myah McCoy. Their work has been submitted and awards will be presented in Lawrence at the University of Kansas on Saturday.

Our Railroader Track Team has a busy two weeks ahead with some important league and regional meets! They are heading to Victoria today and we wish the team good luck. The EHS journalism staff went out to lunch at the club today to celebrate all of the hard work they've put in this year, and to prepare for the final push to finish this year's book.




Swept Ellinwood 20-1 and 21-8. Hannah Schiel takes over top RBI spot with 41 so far this season. Kaydawn Haag ties the season home run record with 7 so far and took the top spot for career home runs last week. They both also had dingers tonight. Hannah got the grand slam, while Kaydawn had the solo shot.

Today, the future EJH seventh graders visited the junior high to see what next year would be like! We look forward to seeing these students in our building next year!

Last week (4/28/23) Ellis track traveled to Quinter to compete. Out of 22 teams present out Girls took first and our boys took 6th! It was a great showing as a team and our athletes got to see a lot of competition. We have one last regular season meet this Thursday before beginning our post-season with League and Regionals.
