It is EHS FOOTBALL SENIOR NIGHT! Thanks and appreciation for these seniors: Logan Russell, Layton Martinson, Kaiden Colby, Landon Dinkel, and Mason Younger! The Ellis Railroader Football team will take on the Syracuse Bulldogs at 7:00 PM. Seniors will be recognized at 6:30 PM!

It is EHS BAND/CHOIR SENIOR NIGHT! Thanks and appreciation go out to our senior, Eryn Boss! Come and see the EHS Band and Choir perform tonight at the football game (Ellis vs. Syracuse). Seniors will be recognized at 6:30 PM!


Trick or Treat So Others Can Eat is Sunday, October 22nd starting at 4:00 PM! Members of KAY, FFA, and FCCLA will meet at the Ellis Food Pantry, which is located behind Casey's!


Dental hygienists from First Care Clinic will be at our schools on Thursday, November 9th, 2023, for dental screenings on K-12 students. Fluoride applications will be available at no charge for those that have a signed consent by a parent. A consent form is below, and forms are also available in the office. Please turn in consent forms to the office by Thursday, November 2nd, 2023. If you would like to opt your student out of the screenings, please complete the opt-out form below and return to school on Thursday, November 2nd, 2023. Any questions, please contact the school nurse, Jaymi Gabel.



Ellis Junior High School will host its first JH dance of the year on the evening of Thursday, October 26th from 8:30-10:30 in the HS commons (this is after we conclude fall parent-teacher conferences). This is the annual Halloween dance, so students are encouraged to wear their costumes. Prizes will be awarded for best group costume and best individual costume.

Susie Eaton joins Ellis Jr./Sr. High School in our kitchen! Susie is a 1972 graduate of Ellis High School. Her son, Josh, graduated in 1995 and her daughter, Aaron, graduated in 1998. Welcome, Susie!


Senior Night is tomorrow (Friday, October 20th) for our football team!

Volleyball Sub-State brackets have been released. The tournament begins at 1:00pm. The Lady Railers are scheduled to take on the Plainville Cardinals in a first round matchup beginning at approximately 2:00pm. Good luck to our EHS volleyball team as they compete for a state berth!


REMINDER - EJH girls basketball parent meeting Thursday after practice 5:45 at grade school gym. We would like to have at least one parent attend the meeting.
