Ellis Jr./Sr. High School had smoke in the building at 2:10 p.m. Everyone was evacuated and is safe. The EHS basketball & cheer teams did leave as scheduled. The fire department is investigating. Students who can drive have been released from school at this time. Other students will dismiss at normal times unless parents want to pick up sooner. Busses will run as normal. Please be assured that students are safe.

The Annual FCCLA Christmas Party will be held on Monday, December 18th during seminar. All EHS FCCLA members are welcome to attend! Please bring a snack and a $10 gift if you wish to participate in the gift exchange!


The Annual KAY Food Box Auction is scheduled for Monday, December 18th at 2:00 PM! All proceeds go the KAY club for future projects and KAY Camp. Parents and community members are welcome to attend and support our Ellis High School students and the KAY organization!

For the past 25 years, the Ellis United Methodist Church in Ellis has hosted 5th Quarter for all Ellis High School students. Check out the winter and spring dates! Thank you to the 5th Quarter committee and all the donors who sponsor this wonderful event!


The Railer Basketball Teams have been assigned the 2A Sub-State at Oakley. Other schools include: Hill City, Hoxie, Oakley, Plainville, Smith Center, TMP, and Trego.
Regional assignments for Wrestling and Scholars Bowl are expected to be released next week.
