First year Ellis FFA members (a.k.a Greenhands) participated in the Northwest District FFA Greenhand Conference today. After taking a FFA information test, they participated in workshops that got them out of their comfort zones. During these workshops, District and State FFA Officers encouraged members to think outside the box and interact with new people.
Greenhands have the opportunity to memorize the five paragraphs of the FFA Creed and recite it in front of judges. This year, Colton Metzler stepped up to the challenge of competing in the FFA Creed Speaking contest. He did an excellent job!

An update from the FCS Room! Here are just a few highlights from the past couple weeks. Learning kitchen terms and practicing those terms/knife skills with play dough, team building challenges with spaghetti and marshmallows, creating a "masterpiece" for FCCLA, and learning about infant physical development and made baby food from scratch.

*CANCELED*
Unfortunately, we did not have enough people interested in the Boston trip to move forward with the informational meeting tomorrow night.

The JV game on Monday in Norton has been canceled. This was my decision due to healthy bodies being able to make the trip. Any questions feel free to ask. Thanks Coach Eichman
