JH Track & Field practice beings Monday, March 4! Practice begins after school at approximately 3:45pm and is held at the North Campus. The bus is able to transport students from Ellis Jr/Sr High School to the practice facility. Practice will end at approximately 5:30pm for the first week. Students will need comfortable and appropriate clothing based on the weather and a pair of shoes to run in. Spikes and specific throwing shoes are allowed, but not required. There will be a Parent Meeting after practice on Wednesday, March 6, at 5:30pm at the North Campus Gym.
It's getting real, senior parents! Cap and Gown Packages were distributed today during seminar. Parents & Seniors-please make sure these make it home! The song "Never Grow Up" by Taylor Swift should be played right now! Bring on the tears!

Congratulations to Taegan Shannon on being elected as a STATE FCCLA officer for the 2024-2025 school year!

Our first poetry pairing:
"Fire and Ice" by Robert Frost VS "Imagine" by John Lennon
"Imagine" is a song, but we know songs are just poems set to music!
Click the link to watch a short reading of each, and then vote for the poem you think should advance. Be sure to listen to "Imagine" by John Lennon, as well!
Have a great weekend, and we'll be back on Monday with more poetry!
