
Today's baseball and softball games at Bucklin have been cancelled due to the forecasted threat of severe storms this afternoon and evening. Baseball will begin Regional play on Friday, May 10 vs. Little River at 3:00pm in Salina. Softball will begin Regional play on Monday, May 13 at home vs. an opponent to be determined. That game will begin at 5:30pm.

On the links at Hill City today Austin Carroll placed 3rd with a score of 74. Tracyn Bollig earned his first career varsity medal with a score of 90. Jaren Frickey shot 94, Tyler Bongartz 95, Landon Dinkel 100, and Owen Richards 112. The team placed 5th with a score of 353. Great job guys! KEEP GRINDING!

This summer's weights and activity schedule has been set. We may have a couple of items trickle in yet and we will be sure to add that information as it becomes available. We understand schedules are busy, as are those of our coaches volunteering their time over the summer, so please give grace if small changes are needed as life happens. We hope that our students are able to take advantage of as many of these opportunities as possible.


Ellis High School had a send-off for our State Forensics team today! They will compete at Bishop Carroll High School in Wichita tomorrow (May 4th). Good luck! Bring home some medals and lots of great memories!


It's SCHOOL LUNCH HERO DAY and Ellis Jr./Sr. High School would like to thank our kitchen staff! Cecilia, Carol, and Susie are definitely heroes day in and day out. They provide wonderful meals, a fabulous salad bar, and lots of smiles each day. We are thankful for them!

All had a great time at the HS track team meal. It was a great opportunity to share a meal and many laughs together. I want to thank the coaching staff for all of their support and everyone that brought food. It was a great time. The team invited a new sporting event called kayak bobsledding. Waiting to see if it will be added to the Olympics next year.
