Hard fought day by our EHS Lady Railer Volleyball 🏐 Teams. JV went 5-0 bringing home the Championship!!! Varsity fought hard taking South Gray to 3 again, but came up short bringing home 2nd! So proud of these girls and their fight in a long day of competition!! 🧡🖤🏐🖤🧡

Now they are taking on Larned who is also 3-0.

Lady Railer Volleyball is rolling in Greensburg!!! JV is 2-0 beating Skyline (25-20 & 25-19) & LaCrosse (25-13 & 25-13). Varsity is also 2-0 beating Macksville (25-19 & 25-14) & South Gray in a nail bitter (19-25, 25-22, & 26-24)! Way to play ladies, don't let down!!!! 🧡🏐🖤🏐🧡

Tonight after the football game the officials hung around they wanted to talk to myself ( Coach Eichman) and Trent Schartz. They explained how they have been working together for several years and that they give out a the coin in which they use for the flip. They explained how they give this out to not the stud athlete or who they think is the best athlete. But they choose a player who exbits leadership traits and who overcomes adversity. Tonight they chose Trent! Pretty cool story. Thanks to Jon Shaver, Steve Webster, Mike Marzolf, Mike Myrick, and Ty Racette for a job well done tonight!

EJH Volleyball Tournament on Saturday September 28th at Wheatland/Grinnell. All information for the day is attached below. We will leave from Ellis High School at 7:30am, please have the girls there by 7:15am. If you have signed up for food/drinks, please bring it to the tournament or send it with your daughter that morning. If it needs to be kept cold send it in a cooler that doesn't leak. Thank you!
EJH Volleyball hosted Trego tonight at home. Both JV and Varsity girls fought hard but were unable to come away with wins. Varsity will compete this weekend at the Wheatland/Grinnell Tournament! We are excited to get some more playing time against some new teams!

I want to advocate for our XC athletes tonight. They have been busting their tails off all season and especially this past week. Unfortunately circumstances didn't allow for them to compete at the level they wanted to. That being said, our junior high athletes all metaled. Taryn Boydston placed first, Cayson Boydston placed third, and Henry Brull and Nora Andrews both finished 11th. Avery Boydston placed first in the girl's varsity high school division. Great work to all. Go Railers!!!

Ellis High School Volleyball Senior Night is Thursday, September 26th, at the home triangular against Colby-Heartland Christian and Northern Valley. Volleyball action begins at 4:30 PM. Senior Recognition will take place prior to the last match with parents and athletes being recognized.
