The EHS Cheerleaders are excited to announce their Pom Poms and Pillows Camp on Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at Ellis Jr./Sr. High School. This fun-filled camp will include games, snacks, crafts, and cheerleading activities. Participants will have the opportunity to perform on Friday, January 10, 2025, during the half-time of the boys’ varsity game against Smith Center. Mini cheerleaders will cheer at the end of the second quarter and perform during half-time. Registration forms were distributed to the grade school today and will be sent home. It's game day for our Railroaders! The basketball teams are traveling to Quinter for the Castle Rock Tournament today and tomorrow. The boys will face the Logan-Palco Trojans at 3:00 PM, and the girls will compete against the Pawnee Heights Tigers at 6:00 PM.

The Ellis High School KAY Club invites parents and the community to the Annual Food Box Auction on Friday, Dec. 20, 2024, at 10:00 in the Ellis Jr./Sr. High School Auditorium. KAY Club members will have homemade baked goodies and decorated boxes for auction. All proceeds will go to the KAY Club to support future projects and help members attend KAY camp in the summer. The EHS Journalism/Yearbook Staff is excited to announce that we will be offering Winter Sports Pictures for all athletes at Ellis Jr./Sr. High School. The Junior High KAY club raised money that went back to the community by voting for a JH teacher to 'Kiss a Horse.' Miss Crawford was the lucky winner who got to kiss Tank. A huge thank you to Monte Boydston for bringing out one of his horses!
