Ellis Jr./Sr. High School is proud to recognize another outstanding educator this week: Mr. Justin Longbine! Mr. Longbine is an exceptional teacher and coach within our district, bringing a wealth of knowledge and talent to our school and its art programs. He is actively developing his program and making a significant impact both inside and outside the classroom.
Mr. Longbine runs The Railway, the school’s t-shirt business, with pride and dedication, putting in extra hours to ensure its success. He participates in the community Art Walk, hosts art fairs at WGS, and voluntarily sponsors the Art Club. One thing we consistently hear from many of his students is how much they appreciate the “vibe” in his classroom. He creates a sense of belonging for many students, who feel safe and understood. How cool is that?
The arts play a vital role in the educational experience, and we are fortunate to have a teacher like Mr. Longbine. He is truly valued in our community and school, and we are honored to celebrate his contributions as part of our Railroader family. Thank you, Mr. Longbine!
