At last night’s January USD 388 Board Meeting, the board approved the updated USD 388 Covid Mitigation Strategies from Least to Most Restrict plan. This updated plan considers federal, state, and county recommendations and was developed with the coordination of the Ellis County Health Department and other Ellis county schools. The new procedures outlined in this plan will take effect Tuesday, January 11, 2022.

This Wednesday there will be a crash-course, pep band rehearsal in the EHS Band room at 5:00—feel free to come whenever you can during our rehearsal time! We are preparing for the basketball game this Friday (January 14th) against TMP. The tunes and cheers are fairly easy and we want to invite any and all skill levels to participate! EJH/EHS CAN TAB COMPETITION is complete! Congratulations to the winning class – the 8TH GRADERS!! They brought an impressive number of tabs weighing in at 76 lbs. With all the classes and some outside donations, we estimate that 380,000 tabs were collected. All of these tabs will be donated to the Adilyn Ward family.
The winning class received Daylight Donuts this morning! Thanks to everyone who participated and had fun supporting this great cause. Sending hope and prayers to the Ward family from everyone at USD 388.




Congratulations to Mason Gottschalk and Tyson Jimenez on their 2A All-State Football recognition. Both received Honorable Mention "Top 100 2A Seniors" compiled by Sports in Kansas. Mason also received Honorable Mention as a 2A Linebacker via the Wichita Eagle.
