Ellis High School’s Awards Assembly will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. in the Ellis Jr./Sr. High School Auditorium. Parents are welcome to attend!

The 5th/6th WGS/St.Mary's Band and Ellis Jr./Sr. High Band and Choir concert is tonight at 7 pm in the EHS Auditorium. Students who are performing need to meet in the EHS Band room at 6:30 pm to warm up and prepare to perform. Join us for a night of fun music
Ellis is proud to host one of this spring's 2-1A KSHSAA Softball Regionals. We will host on Tuesday, May 16 and Wednesday, May 17. We are still looking for admissions/ticket help for this event. Times would be from approximately 1-6pm on Tuesday and 3:45-5:45pm on Wednesday. These are paid positions. Please let us know if you can help.
Tuesday's MCEL Track and Field meet in Phillipsburg will begin at 10:00am with field events. Prelims (200, 100, 100 H) will begin at 12:15pm and other running event finals will follow starting with the 3200M. The league will be charging admission to this event and MCL/MCEL passes will not be accepted. Admission prices are $5 for adults and $4 for students (K-12). Concessions will be available starting around 10:30am.
Ellis High School Baseball and Softball Senior Night is Tuesday, May 9, 2023. Seniors and their parents will be recognized between games with Pratt-Skyline. Game time for 1st game is 4:00 p.m. Congratulations to our seniors and best wishes to both teams as they head into regionals! Baseball Seniors pictured are Jarret Mader and William Crawford. Congrats to the Railer golfers on a tremendous day at Hill City! Hunter Guffey placed 15th with a personal best 86. Austin Carroll also had a personal best score of 74 and placed 4th. Team placed 3rd with a 338, which is our lowest score in 10 years! Great job guys KEEP GRINDING!

Shoutout to our High School Track & Field athletes for an outstanding performance at Victoria! We are starting to see a lot of peak performances as we prepare for league and regionals. Our girl's team placed 2nd out of 9 teams, while the boy's team placed 8th out of 9 teams. Next week we head to Philipsburg for MCL, the following week we will be in Stanton County for Regionals, hoping to take a large bus to State the week after!
