Great job to the EHS Railers tonight in Phillipsburg. JV went 1-1, dropping to the Panthers 22-25 & 18-25, but bounced back with a win over the Ringnecks, 25-13 & 25-15. JV's record is 11-5
Varsity struggled against P-burg after an injury took out Brooke, but they kept working and won in 3! 19-25, 25-23, & 25-21. Finished the night beating Hill City 25-6 & 25-14. Great job tonight ladies! Varsity record 8-4
Ellis Jr./Sr. High School Picture Day is Monday, September 25th! ALL students (including seniors) as well as faculty/staff will have their picture taken!

Thanks to James Robben from Grow Hays for talking to our Business Essentials class about the youth entrepreneurship challenge and developing a business plan. Some of our students will be competing in the YEC at Hays in November.

EJH VOLLEYBALL RESULTS (9/18)
Ellis Varsity traveled back to Plainville tonight to compete in a quad with Plainville, Ness City, and Central Plains. JV was also supposed to compete, but with continued injuries and sickness we were low on numbers and unable to play.
Varsity first took on Ness City and came out with a win going 25-17 in the first set and 25-4 in the second.
We then went on to play Central Plains and were unable to get a win. First set score 12-25 and second set 13-25.
Finally, we finished the night against Plainville and came out on top again. Finishing the first set 25-19 and the second set 25-23.

Ellis JV and Varsity traveled to Plainville tonight to take on the Cardinals. Both JV and Varsity came out with a win. We fought some adversity with injuries from Monday nights games and then another injury tonight.
Varsity defeated Plainville in two sets. First set score was 25-18 and they pulled away on the second set with a 25-15 win.
JV also beat Plainville in two sets. First set score was 25-21 and the girls stomped the second set 25-10.

Trego XC Results - Our athletes took on a tough course with some strong growth and accomplishments . Avery Boydston and Taryn Boydston finished 1st, Jocelyn Eck finished 2nd in JV, Cayson Boydston came in 3rd, and Maggie Fitzgerald finished JV in 4th. Great job Railers!!
