The seniors from Ellis High School had the honor of attending a Rotary meeting today. They enjoyed lunch and an informative program during the event. Our next group of seniors will participate in Rotary on April 15th. Hugo, a student and employee at Fort Hays State University, presented an informative program about his home country, Bolivia.

The Ellis FFA invites you to our annual Labor Auction on Monday, April 20th. We will serve a meal at 6:30 PM, and the auction will begin shortly afterward. Individual and team photos were taken of all participants present on the day of the shoot.
If you missed the chance to order photos during the fall or winter sports seasons and would like to purchase a Memory Mate from those seasons, now is the perfect time! This will be the last opportunity to order pictures for this school year. Please note that all orders are due by Wednesday, April 8, 2026; no late orders will be accepted.

The JV baseball start time in Spearville on Tuesday has been moved from 3:00pm to 2:30pm. The varsity double-header will follow the JV game and begin at 4:00pm.
The Ellis HS Track and Field team had a successful first day competing at La Crosse. The Girls' team finished 1st with a score of 88, while breaking four meet records. The boys' and girls' teams had 15 PRs. 1st-Place winners are Avery Boyston in the 3200 M*, Taryn Boydston in the 800 M* and 1600 M*, Haylee Comer in the Javelin, Carson Schartz in the Javelin, and Evelyn Merriman in the 200 M*. 2nd-Place winners are A. Boydston in the 1600 M, Merriman in the 100 M, and 4 x 100 of Mackinley Rhoden, Merriman, Schmidt, and Payten Burd. 3rd-Place winner Sienna Schmidt in the LJ. 4th-Place winners are 4 x 400 of A. Congratulations to both the 7th & 8th grade scholars bowl teams on a great season. 8th went 4-5 today with several close matches, but did not place. 7th went 7-2 today, taking 3rd place in the MCEL meet! Great way to finish the season!
