The Ellis Music Department presents A NIGHT AT THE MOVIES on Tues., Jan. 11, 2022! Tickets are available in the EJH/EHS office! Dinner & Show tickets are $15! Show only is $10 & must be purchased at the door the night of the performance. The deadline for ticket sales (dinner & show) has been extended to Fri., Jan. 7th at 12:00 noon.

EJH/EHS CAN TAB COMPETITION is complete! Congratulations to the winning class – the 8TH GRADERS!! They brought an impressive number of tabs weighing in at 76 lbs. With all the classes and some outside donations, we estimate that 380,000 tabs were collected. All of these tabs will be donated to the Adilyn Ward family.
The winning class received Daylight Donuts this morning! Thanks to everyone who participated and had fun supporting this great cause. Sending hope and prayers to the Ward family from everyone at USD 388.
Congratulations to Mason Gottschalk and Tyson Jimenez on their 2A All-State Football recognition. Both received Honorable Mention "Top 100 2A Seniors" compiled by Sports in Kansas. Mason also received Honorable Mention as a 2A Linebacker via the Wichita Eagle.

Our USD 388 school community would like to thank DJ Fischer for his service on the school board. DJ completed his board term last night at our December board meeting. Pictured is Mr. Fischer being presented his outgoing board member plaque from Superintendent Corey Burton. We want to again thank DJ for his commitment to serving the youth of Ellis. Go Railers.
Big thanks to Lance Reese the voice of the Railers. He is back on the USD 388 YouTube Channel tonight calling the EHS vs. Ellinwood basketball game.
Railer Basketball is at home today hosting Ellinwood. JV games at 4:15, V girls at 6, V boys at 7:30. We will have a recognition for last year’s Baseball team between the varsity games. Go Railers!
The Wednesday, December 15, 2021 USD 388 Board Meeting has been rescheduled for Sunday, December 19, 2021 at 6:00 pm in the EHS FACS Room. The previously scheduled EHS Alumni Center tour will be rescheduled at a future meeting.
USD 388 will run a 10:00 am late start tomorrow (December 16, 2021). There will be NO AM preschool.
