Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled for next week, Tuesday, October 26, and Wednesday, October 27, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Teachers will be in their classrooms at Ellis Jr./Sr. High School. A few reminders about conferences:
- Parents are asked to stop by the office to pick up grade cards and assessment results (if applicable).
- Grade cards will show up-to-date grades, but we no longer do 9-week grades, only semester grades.
- The grade card will show classroom numbers so teachers can be easily found.
- Please be respectful keeping conferences brief so teachers can meet with as many parents as possible.
One of the most accurate predictors of a student’s success in school is a strong parental involvement in a child’s education. If you have any questions regarding parent/teacher conferences, please contact the office at 785-726-3151.
We have only one shared teacher who will not be here both nights. His schedule and contact information is below. Please reach out if you would like to meet with him and cannot on Wednesday.
