The junior high wrestling team had another busy week with matches in Hill City and a tournament in Hoisington. The team came out flat at Hill City and did not perform up to their ability. “We continue to work on wrestling with intensity throughout the entire match.” At the Hoisington tournament, Asher Haag was our only champion at the 127 pound weight class. Kalen Smith got back on the winning track placing 2nd at 110 pounds. Hunter Honas, Korbyn Kroeger, Jack Reed, Lyla Richards, and Haylee Comer all ended up in third place. The team travels to WaKeeney this Thursday for matches. The team will host the always tough MCEL tournament on Thursday February 15th starting at 1:00 pm.
