Ellis Track and Field traveled to Ness City yesterday and competed very well against 12 other teams. As a team, Girls placed 2nd, while the Boys finished 6th. We had many individuals that placed and brought home some hardware. Individual/Relay Placers: Natalee North - Shotput - 1st Natalee North - Discus - 1st Isabella Eck - High Jump - 1st McKenna Kohl, Sienna Schmidt, Madi Russell, Avery Boydston - 4x800m - 1st Avery Boydston - 1600m - 1st Madi Russell - 3200m - 1st Mason Younger - Polevault - 1st McKenna Kohl - 800m - 2nd Avery Boydston - 3200m - 2nd Dakota Metzler - Polevault - 2nd Kylee Pfeifer - 400m - 3rd Rex Johnson - Javelin - 3rd Mason Younger - Long Jump - 3rd Kamden Keller - Polevault - 3rd Isabella Eck - Polevault - 4th Kylee Pfeifer - 100 Hurdles - 5th Kylee Pfeifer, Raegan Jimenez, Addison Kohl, Sienna Schmidt - 4x100m - 5th Logan Russell - Javelin - 5th Dakota Metzler, Rex Johnson, Mason Younger, Carson North - 4x100m - 5th Sienna Schmidt - Triple Jump - 6th Addison Kohl - Polevault - 6th Payten Burd - 200m - 6th Dakota Metzler, Rex Johnson, Mason Rohleder, Carson North - 4x400m - 6th Honorable Mention: Thrower's Relay of Isabella Eck, Logan Russell, Alex McGuire, and Maverick Gnad got first. Although they don't get points or medals, they got a cake!
