The junior high wrestling team traveled to Stockton on Thursday February 9th for matches. There was some very tough competition at the event and the team was only able to win 13 out of the 31 matches wrestled. Asher Haag and Piper McClung were able to win all three of their matches on the evening. We were without a few team members due to illness and hope to be full strength this week as we conclude our season with the MCEL tournament at Trego. All twelve of the league schools will have teams there and the competition looks as tough as always. The tournament will get under way at 3:00 pm in the Trego high school gym with both boy and girls divisions taking place.
